Colorado has witnessed a heartbreaking toll of 522 lives lost to drug overdose. In an effort to raise awareness, Brooke Perez, the founder of the nonprofit KK Fearless, bravely shares her personal story. Having tragically lost two siblings to drug overdose, Brooke established this organization with the mission of eradicating the stigma and fostering greater awareness about substance use disorder and mental health. She aims to honor her brother and sister’s legacy, ensuring they are remembered as more than mere statistics.
